The Girl
My Name is Thea Ilona, you could find me running around as Thea or Ilona.
I am 18 years old and live in the country of Indonesia with my small family of dad, mom and a little sister. I am a girl who was born on the 17th of January, under the astrological sign of Capricorn and the Chinese sign of the Goat. I spend my free time by browsing around the internet, mostly on social network sites, and I am in the fanlisting business. I enjoy listening to music, watching TV shows or movies, cooking and eating. I’m a fan of South Korean music and dramas. I’m fascinated by their culture and language, but mainly of their entertainment industry! Gosh, do they have eye candies!
There are several things that I can’t live my life without! First, of course, is the almighty God (or whatever you’d like to call Him) that is our creator. My family comes next. I could never live without a place I call ‘home’. My little sister is my playmate and sibling. My best friend is a must-have companion through every kind of situations in life! I love her very dearly, indeed. Close friends are there to hear me out, but no one can beat my best friend. If all else upsets me and I need a small escape, you will definitely find me immersed in reading, listening to music or just chomping snacks.
I find pleasures in the small simple things. Dews on grass in the morning, the silver full moon, a warm cup of tea, the smell of a quiet old book, dawn and dusk, friendly hugs & kisses, shimmering things or the smell of pancake and maple syrup. You would probably know that I love books and listening to music. I have a knack for music, singing to songs and tunes I’ve never heard of. My Dad wonders how I knew so many songs. Truth is, sometimes I just guessed.
If there are things that make me happy, then there are certainly things that make me annoyed, sad or angry. To be the last person to know something, to be ignored or neglected or left out. I’ve experienced a nasty problem that got me really empty and hollow. I’ve experienced a nice dose of backstabbing and a whole lot people talking behind my back when they don’t know the truth. But I got to thank them for making me stronger mentally. I’m now not so invulnerable to those kind of things. I kept a polite distance to people who I thought were friends. Thanks to those people, I know who my real friends are.
The Domain
Rising-east.org was acquired from a contest held by fantofan.org. I was given the liberty to pick the domain name I wanted and chose rising-east.org. I chose this name because I wanted to spread the rising power of the east countries, especially Asian countries. Though I will probably talk more about South Korea. This domain will serve as a personal blog as well as a place to hold things I adore most in life.
